PARADE RULES
1. There will be no use of water guns/blasters in any form.
2. No throwing objects into the crowd. You may hand items to spectators.
3. Vehicle entries must have good visibility. Please be sure to decorate in a way that allows safe vision and able to display your assigned number for judging.
4. Performances for the spectators are limited to two minutes to maintain the flow of the parade.
5. Alcohol is not allowed to be consumed by parade participants.
6. Parade monitors must be adhered to.
7. Adults will ride with young children on floats, trailers, or in the back of pickups to maintain safety.
8. If your entry includes animals, you are responsible for providing water for your animals and cleaning up after them.
9. If your entry is a personal, commercial, or business vehicle, it should be decorated in accordance with the Parade Theme.
10. We will email you with a confirmation of your entry’s placement and instructions for line-up if your entry is received by the deadline of July 27th.
11. Parade Monitors may remove entries NOT obeying the rules listed above. Please remember this is a community event and children will be present.
WAIVER OF PARTICIPATION
1. In consideration of you accepting my parade entry, I hereby, for myself, my child, my executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I have against the Royalton Old Home Days, The Town of Royalton, its representatives, successors and assignees for any and all injuries suffered at this activity by this group. Participation is of my free will and act.
2. I have read the Parade Rules and Understand that my entry must follow all the rules or risk being removed from the parade.
