About the event

The Royalton Historical Society will have two engaging programs during the Royalton Old Home Days this summer. On Friday, August 4th, at 7:00 PM, George Woodard will be in town to show his recent film, "The Farm Boy.” Filmed in Vermont and set in 1944, as World War II was raging in Europe, the focus is on the life experience of a young man and his growth. The late David Ainsworth is briefly in the film, which offers excitement and nostalgic memories of rural Vermont. The film will be shown at the First Congregational Church building in Royalton Village. During intermission, there will be refreshments available at the Royalton Academy Building.
